Elementary Music
I am excited to begin a new school year here at San Augustine! I am originally from Palestine, TX, but I spent over a decade in Nacogdoches before moving to Milam last autumn. My teaching journey began as an elementary music teacher and assistant band director at Mount Enterprise. Recently, I held the position of head band director at Hemphill where I led the Little Green Band to the NAMMB State Military Marching Contest. I am so excited for my ninth year of teaching and to see how much my young musicians grow!

This Christmas, we will have a party where we’ll decide if our pets should help decorate or if we should just focus on the shiny decorations, and we might even need to save Santa if he gets stuck in the chimney!
