On this day, students are encouraged to come to school dressed up as a character from their favorite book. The costume MUST represent a character from a book they have read and your child should be prepared to describe the character and the book at school that day.
Please work with your child to create a simple, homemade costume. Please, do not feel obligated to purchase a book character costume! Just do your best to gather an assortment of accessories to create a homemade costume. Your child will take part in book character activities throughout the day on 10/31.
