The school year is almost over, and our teachers have worked very hard to stay sane and give us an exceptional education. Make sure to acknowledge them for their hard work this year!

Paws for Books bookfair will be held on the following dates at the Elementary: April 26, 27 and 30th; May 1st and 2nd; Family Night will be Monday, the 30th, from 4-6 p.m. See you at the fair!
The Gifted and Talented students received first, second and third place in the Republic of Texas Art Contest sponsored by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in Austin. Mrs. Henly and the students attended an awards ceremony at the state capitol in Austin on Saturday, April 7th. The students had to extensively research historical events in Texas prior to 1850 and create artwork with historical facts that depicts the event or person. 1st place Joshua Olgesby, 2nd place Kristina Watts, and 3rd place Maggie Miller.
The Gifted and Talented students attended the Innovation Inventions competition at Region 7 on March 22. From a Field of 70 Inventions, their invention of the "Safety First Baby Bathtub" won first place in the Category of " Most Potential to Society" and Second place overall High Point Invention.
